I am having a baby girl in july,so I need clothes size 0-3,burp
rags,socks,onesies. If anyone has a swingset that is in decent shape,I can

blue,and burgandy.If anyone has any bridesmaids gowns,that are any of these

I have an epileptic exerciser. Like a ski thing. A computer moniter that is
brand new. a canister set that has country geese on them and assorted glasses to
offer. Preference to whoever will take it all at once. Doing some spring
cleaning and tired of storing it all. Must pick up and will need truck for the
exerciser.

Today, someone posted on here for a free English Bulldog named Lilly. She was
our dog, and we had my husbands brother doggy-sit for her. She is our 3 year old
daughter's dog. He posted her on freecycle without our knowledge or concent. We
have pictures of her with our daughter, as well as vet papers for her. The ad
was wrong, she HAS been spayed. If you got her, we would please love her
returned. Our little girl is heartbroken. This was not their dog to get rid of.
Willing to re-inburse the money paid for her. Please have a heart and return our
baby girl to our daughter. She has been crying all day since I got on here and
saw the ad. It saddens me that my husbands brother would od this to his own
neice. I am praying that whoever has her has a heart and will return her. I can
send pictures of her as proof of ownership. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Thank you to all who offered support. We did get Lilly back. She is happy
to be home, and our daughter is so grateful to have her back. She was so well
taken care of and loved, and we are so grateful for that, and even more grateful
to have her back. Thanks again!

So tons of freecycle posts contain spelling errors. Sometimes they can be overlooked. But in this example from Jodi bad spelling kinda changes the meaning of the post!

Attention animal lovers: I have a cat that seems like she is scared of
everything. She is anti-social, but I think she has been abused by either other
animals or people or both. She has never bitten, but she growls as I pet her. I
know she fixed and I need to find a home for her fast. She has been hiding in my
basement. She would do great in a 1 or 2 person home anymore than that is would
probably be torture for her. I would like to keep her but my husband says no.

You have the people who are just looking to see what's there and what people need. The genuine people, just looking to keep stuff out of the trash and find something they can use.
The people who expect the universe to be handed over to them because they deserve it. Ya know, their uncles bestfriends sisters aunt's dog got ran over by a car, so they need a new laptop. I think I have demonstrated a few of those around here.
The people who have garbage and they are too cheap to throw it away themselves, so hey why don't you come throw it away for me? Example:
Free water softener! It works great! Only issue is that two weeks ago it leaked
some water on the floor, but that could probably be fixed. Yours for the taking.
Gee, the only issue with it is that IT DOESN'T WORK. Even though you claim "works great" uh.....NO it doesn't, a leaking water softener is a broken one m'kay?

Hello and welcome to my first blog on FreebieFreaks.

I have decided to start blogging about the funny and strange things I have run across on my local Freecycle board. Don't get me wrong I love Freecycle, I love that old things find new homes and new uses. Sometimes I find myself giggling at the requests and responses on there, and I hope maybe you will too.

For example, there seem to be some freecyclers who forget that it is FREE, like this one:

"Wanted: Sprint Cell Phone in good condition, preferably something like a Palm
or thereabouts (some type of smart phone preferred - Blackberry type, etc.). My
husband broke his this past weekend and I am looking for a replacement. "

Uh yeah, I would love a free Blackberry too, but you don't see me whining to internet strangers to give me one!

Or there is this person who is giving away....uh....I dunno......what ARE they giving away?

"Offer ~ Box of goodies...~Not even sure whats in there....med size box and must
take it all please...."

Go pick it up, who knows, there could be a pile of cash in there!
